Winter Storm Brings Rain, Winds and Possibly Snow to San Diego

TONIGHT: Cloudy skies and rain showers develop, with a low temperature of 48 degrees. Starting by mid-afternoon in the St. Lawrence Valley, rain will switch to sleet, snow and freezing rain.

According to the National Weather Service in Memphis, the winter weather advisory for Lee County is in effect from 6 a.m.to 6 p.m. Friday.

Freezing rain is expected overnight and early morning Friday. Winter weather advisories were also in effect for places like Pennsylvania, parts of NY and MA. Colder temperatures over the weekend, with possible single digit lows Saturday night. Along with the snowfall, blowing and drifting snow could make travel hazardous with near blizzard like conditions.

In southern Erie and other counties in the region, the watch shows that up to 14 inches of snow is possible.

Counties along the OH and Mississippi Rivers are expected to get a tenth of an inch of ice or less.

The speed and track of the storm system will determine how much snow we'll see.

Investors Set Sail on Valuation For Vodafone Group Plc (VOD.L)
Arrowstreet Capital Limited Partnership grew its holdings in shares of Vodafone Group by 47.8% in the second quarter. Goldman Sachs Group reissued a "buy" rating on shares of Vodafone Group in a report on Thursday, November 23rd.

"We will see those temperatures drop behind" the cold front, Gilbert said. More than a foot of snow is expected in upstate NY. In Central New York, 6 to 10 inches of snow of wet, heavy snow mixed with sleet could fall this afternoon through Saturday afternoon. Ice accumulations also could form a light glaze in places.

Thursday's residential service will be collected Friday and Friday's customers will be collected by the end of Saturday.

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties.

Total sleet and snow accumulations of up to 1 inch and ice accumulations under a tenth of an inch are expected. "Lesser amounts west with increasing amounts east. Indianapolis is right in the middle, expecting around 2-4" of snow through this evening.

Highs will be mainly in the 20s Friday and Saturday, with early morning wind chills near zero Sunday morning. Heavy snow possible of 4 to 8 inches.
