Ohio State's Keita Bates-Diop Reportedly Will Declare for 2018 NBA Draft
Along with Buckeyes head coach Chris Holtmann, Bates-Diop will hold a press conference at 2 p.m. Monday "to discuss his future", Ohio State said in a release.
Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN is reporting that the press conference is being held to announce the Big Ten Player of the Year's intentions to forego his senior season and declare for the National Basketball Association draft.
Bates-Diop, the Big Ten Conference Player of the Year, averaged 19.8 points and 8.7 rebounds a game for the Buckeyes.

Keita Bates-Diop is giving up his final year of eligibility at Ohio State and submitting his name for the 2018 NBA Draft in June, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski. After suffering a fractured left leg nine games into the 2016-17 season, the NCAA awarded Bates-Diop a redshirt season that would've allowed him to return for a fifth year in 2018-19.
Bates-Diop was named the 2017-18 Big Ten Player of the Year during a breakout season.
