The Kings and Celtics partnered for this Stephon Clark PSA urging police accountability

Players from the Sacramento Kings and Boston Celtics have teamed up to push for police accountability following the death of Stephon Clark, an unarmed black man shot and killed by Sacramento police officers.

The PSA, which features players from both teams, runs for 30 seconds.

The squads of both teams took part in the pre-game show of support for civil rights activists denouncing last Sunday's shooting death of Stephon Clark and the killing of numerous other African-Americans at the hands of law enforcement in recent years.

Stephon Clark, 22, died in a hail of police gunshots March 18 in the darkened backyard of the home where he had been staying with his grandparents. Though officials said cops opened fire only because they believed they saw Clark holding a gun, Clark was found with just a cell phone. Former 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick - who protested police brutality and racial inequality by kneeling during the national anthem throughout the 2016 season - has been called out by President Donald Trump and has filed a collusion lawsuit against the NFL after going unsigned as a free agent in 2017.
