Bennett is represented by high profile attorney Rusty Hardin, who spoke with USA Today.

Bennett's lawyer told USA Today the Bennett planned on turning himself into police on Monday. "I'm going to take my time to find out what occurred". Police said the disabled woman suffered a sprained shoulder when she was allegedly pushed by Bennett, hitting the back of her 800-pound, motorized wheelchair.
