Sam Bradford plans to sign a one-year, $20 million deal with the Arizona Cardinals when free agency opens on Wednesday, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported. He threw for 346 yards and three touchdowns in the Vikings' season opener before leaving the team's Week 2 game with a knee injury.
After starting a combined 28 games for Minnesota in his first two seasons and completing almost 65 percent of his passes, Bridgewater missed the entire 2016 season due to a non-contact injury in his left leg suffered in late August of that year.
Bradford spent the last two seasons with the Minnesota Vikings, but only played in two games.
The Oklahoma alum, of course, has a lengthy injury history.

He was one of seven quarterbacks the Vikings have started since drafting Christian Ponder in 2012's first round.
Bradford joins Case Keenum on the road out of Minnesota.
The Bills and other National Football League teams are allowed to begin negotiating with agents of free agents beginning Monday but can't officially come to terms until 4 p.m on Wednesday. Adding to the exodus, quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is reportedly expected to draw interest from the New York Jets should the Vikings sign Cousins.
