Someone with disordered eating could also overuse diet pills, she added.

To me, it seems that eating disorders are still very misunderstood illnesses, and the severity of them not fully recognised.
So, this week is national eating disorder awareness week and its goal is to provide awareness around what eating disorders are and how they profoundly impact the lives of those who have them.
This year will include the Sock It to Eating Disorders initiative.
