Polygon says Call of Duty Black Ops 4 will not have a campaign mode By Keshav
Sources speaking with Polygon have said Black Ops 4's lack of a single-player campaign came down to time constraints. This creative shift highlights the uncertainty of single-player campaigns in future triple-A titles. Are you interested in a Battle Royale mode for COD?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will have a reveal event on May 17, with the game scheduled to be released worldwide on October 12.
The rumor comes from a Polygon report via sources that have asked not to be named. Activision refuses to comment on this latest development, but based on previous Call of Duty games, it doesn't seem all that unlikely.
