New Stephon Clark Videos Show Officers Waited 5 Minutes Before Trying To Help Him
According to the "The Huffington Post", Police were concerned that Clark was armed and only pretending to be dead after they shot him, so they waited about five minutes before attempting lifesaving CPR.
The new clips, which total more than 15 hours of material, show several officers muting their microphones when they begin speaking with others and two officers administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation on Clark's motionless body more than five minutes after the shooting.
When officers did move to help Clark, they took another minute to handcuff him first, despite his body appearing motionless.
Sgt. Vance Chandler with the Sacramento Police Department said determining why the officers muted their cameras will be part of the investigation. The two officers respond, saying a weapon hasn't been secured.
The March 18 capturing that killed Stephon Clark's records have been out of responding officers and authorities squad vehicles, adding a movie of cops at nighttime looking for the defendant through blocks and open yards.

Dr. Bennet Omalu, a forensic pathologist retained by Clark's family to conduct an independent autopsy, said he found Clark was shot by Sacramento police eight times and six of those wounds were in his back. The two officers who shot Clark muted their microphones several minutes after. He says he can't get out of bed to see, and a woman in the background says he has "no legs". He then proceeds to walk around Clark's body.
The footage released by police also showed a number of other officers being instructed to mute their cameras.
The video footage was collected from the officers' body cameras and dashboard-mounted cameras inside their patrol cars. After the officer leaves the backyard, he goes to make a phone call and turns off his camera.
Police fired 20 times at Clark.
"If it's one officer or 100 (muting their mics after the shooting), what we want is none", he said. The department also released two 911 calls.
